Today I was reminded that I do have an inner child. It's easy to forget. My inner child is the one who gets joy out of the simple things in life. The sounds of rain on the trees while hiking, the sweetness in watching my dog and cat play...many things.
As we grow older, often times other things and responsibilities crowd our inner child. This makes us unable to enjoy the greatest gifts - simple spontaneous living and trust in the power of good. I miss my inner child and I want her back. She is a lot of what helps me to be a loving, kind person.
Today I am embracing my inner child. As I fully embrace my inner child, the joy of life I feel is shared with all I meet. As I feel my own joy in life, I feel more love and attract more joy and love into my life.
